Headaches occur for a multitude of reasons. Most commonly due to stress, trauma, structural or hormonal imbalance, nutrient deficiencies, prescriptive side effects or poor diet. Identifying the cause is a key factor for effective treatment. If one is experiencing frequent change in vision, balance, behavior or is experiencing the worst headache of one’s life then medical attention is necessary.
How can Chiropractic Help?
Headaches can be a cause or result of structural imbalances of the neck vertebrae and surrounding muscles. Chiropractic manipulations work to restore motion of restricted joints and release muscular tension resulting in increased range of motion and blood flow to the head and neck regions. Chiropractic manipulations in conjunction with other conservative treatment show positive results in reducing headache symptoms.
