Case Study: Could your low back pain really be SI joint pain?

28 year old female reports to clinic with right low back discomfort that has been ongoing for 2 years. Prior to starting care she tried physical therapy and had an MRI of her low back. PT did not seem to help much and the MRI did not show any major issues in her low back.

On examination it was found that her right sacroiliac joint was the area of complaint.

She received a chiropractic adjustment and was recommended to limit running for a week. Already she is feeling much better and reports she feels more balanced and does not experience much pain with running anymore!
