Case Study: 59-Year-Old Male With Low Back Pain Brought On By Coughing
59-year-old male presents to clinic with severe low back pain and muscle spasms brought on by coughing. When this initially happened, he dropped to his knees and was unable to get off the floor for 3-4 hours. He rated the pain 10/10. He has not been able to work since. He is using a cane to support him when walking.
Patient’s treatment plan consists of chiropractic adjustments, heat/ice, light stretching, and wearing a low back brace.
After only 4 adjustments, his pain is gone. He is walking without support and is back at work.
