  1. 47-year-old male reports to clinic with right hip pain. This has been an ongoing issue for many years now. His pain levels on a scale of 1-10 are consistently around a 5. He has tried PT, acupuncture and massage with minimal improvement. His previous imaging showed moderate degenerative change.
    Patient’s treatment plan consists of chiropractic adjustments 1x week for 6-8 weeks, heat, ice, massage therapy, activity management, rehab exercises and a heel lift to balance out his pelvis.
    Over 8 weeks, the patient remained very compliant with care and his pain levels are now very low and he is able to tolerate his daily activities with minimal to no pain despite his degenerative change.
  2. Mother brings 2 week old infant in for care. She is noticing she is not gaining weight as her previous children had and she is favoring rotating her head in one direction. After examination it was found child had tongue and lip tie and torticollis. She was referred to a tongue and lip revision specialist, lactation consultant before return for chiropractic care.
    Child’s revision was completed a few days later and she quickly began gaining weight more easily. She continued chiropractic care 1x week to help restore mobility in her neck. Within two visits the child had improved range of motion. Within 8 visits she is no longer favoring a side, growing quickly and is a happier, more comfortable baby.
  3. 36-year-old injured worker reports to clinic with neck pain after a work related injury. His claim has been opened and approved but he reports he also has middle back pain. His treatment plan consisted of chiropractic care 2x week for 4 weeks, then 1x week for 4 weeks, massage therapy 1x week for 6 weeks, physical therapy 1x week for 6 weeks, light duty restrictions for 2 weeks and additional paperwork was completed to add his middle back complaints to his claim.
    Patients middle back complaints were quickly approved by L&I and patient was back to work on full duty with minimal complaints within 2 weeks and back to pre injury status within 3 months of beginning care.
  4. 17-year-old female reports to clinic after being dropped in a cheer stunt with headaches and neck pain on a scale of 1-10 are a 6. Her mother is concerned about a concussion so appropriate testing was preformed. Based on her symptoms and exam finding, it was found that she had a mild concussion and a whip lash injury to her neck.
    Her treatment consisted of the following: chiropractic care 1x week for 4 weeks, heat, ice, light stretching exercises, increase of water and omega intake, no sports for 2 weeks, limiting screen time and low level light therapy preformed at the office.
    Within a few days she felt 50% better and by the next week her only complaint was a mild amount of muscle soreness. She has been able to return to sports with no restrictions.
  5. 33-year-old female patient reports to clinic for functional medicine. Her primary symptoms included stomach pain, bloating, insomnia, fatigue, pain and infertility. Patients lab testing revealed multiple nutrient deficiencies, gut inflammation and hormone imbalance, specifically very low progesterone. Patients treatment plan consisted of diet changes (paleo), gut and liver detox program, supplements to support nutrient deficiency and progesterone production. After 8 weeks all of her primary symptoms were resolved. A few months later, she was able to conceive after being told for years she was infertile!
  6. 54-year-old female reports to clinic with left shoulder pain. She has been having this pain for the last year and has tried heating, icing, and massage therapy. Additionally, she has had a consultation with an orthopedic surgeon because the pain has gotten so severe. Patient has had previous imaging with no significant findings. Patient is severely restricted in all shoulder range of motion. Her pain levels on a scale of 1-10 can get as high as a 10, but on average an 8.
    Patient’s treatment plan consists of chiropractic adjustments 1x week for 6-8 weeks, heat, ice, massage therapy, activity modifications, rehab exercises, laser therapy, and taping of the shoulder.
    After 8 weeks of care, the patient’s pain level is down to a 1/10, and she has regained full shoulder range of motion. She is able work, play with her dogs, and sleep through the night with little to no pain.
  7. 51-year-old female reports to clinic with severe, radicular right low back pain. She injured herself when picking up her grandchild. She is unable to sit on her right side at all, she is hardly sleeping, and she is unable to move without intense sharp pain. This has never happened to her before.
    Patient’s treatment plan consists of chiropractic adjustments 2x week for 4-6 weeks, ice, activity and lifting modifications, rehab exercises, laser therapy, physical therapy and ordering a lumbar MRI.
    Patient’s MRI revealed degenerative change, nerve impingement and a synovial cyst. Over the next 3 months, the patient made many activity modifications, and stayed compliant with her treatment plan inside and outside of the clinic. She no longer has radicular pain and is able to lift her grandchild again, go on camping trips, and exercise without any pain.
  8. 35-year-old male presents to clinic with right shoulder pain that has been off and on for the past 6 months. He is a firefighter and often carries and lifts heavy weight. Pain is mild-moderate, but can get in the way of him performing his regular job duties.
    Patient’s treatment plan consists of chiropractic adjustments 1x week for 12 weeks, laser therapy, physical therapy, and ordering a shoulder MRI. Patient’s MRI revealed a rotator cuff tear in his right shoulder.
    After 12 weeks of care, patient is having little to no pain, just occasional soreness with excessive lifting. His shoulder no longer feels like it is ‘catching’ or ‘pinching’.
  9. 32-year-old female presents to the clinic with severe headaches and migraines. She has been taking a medication prescribed by her primary care doctor, but it is not helping.
Patient’s treatment plan consists of chiropractic adjustments 1-2x per week for 4-6 weeks, laser therapy, massage therapy, heat, ice and rehab exercises.
After 4 weeks of the care, the patient started to notice a significant decrease in headache and migraine frequency. Patient experiences headaches a few times per month now, but they are low grade and not debilitating as they once were. She is now able to manage her mild headaches with the skills and techniques taught to her throughout chiropractic treatment.
